Nearing The One Year Milestone- Woohoo! Your Baby's Getting Bigger!

Your baby has almost reached their big milestone of completing one year! Yes! The big day is getting closer and your baby can already do so many things. There's a list of things that you need to remember for the coming D-day and now would be the perfect time to start planning.

What you need to know

Carry a notebook with you at all times so you never miss an idea. Plan a theme-based birthday party, their favourite cartoon or toy would be a great start. Coordinate everything, from colour schemes to cakes based on the theme. Jot down names of friends and family you want to invite beforehand and keep the list short and crisp. Crowds could irritate your little one and what’s worse that a cranky first birthday?

For decorations, use lots of balloons and make party hats for all. Apart from the birthday cake, make some tiny cupcakes for the little ones. If you are inviting other babies, avoid dishes that contain common allergens, like nuts. Make sure that the menu is simple yet appetizing.

Above all, remember to joyfully celebrate the fact that your little darling has successfully crossed their one year milestone! And celebrate one year of successful parenting. This is as much a celebration for you as it is for him.
