At this stage, your baby can point to things or pictures when they are named. For instance, if you take a pitcure book and ask her, “Where is the cat?” She can point out the cat in the book by looking at the picture.
What you need to know
You baby is now able to do so because her memory and language are in progress. She can recall what she has learnt and is also able to communicate. On a regular basis, read to your little one. You can even repeat reading books that you have read to her before. This will reinforce the vocabulary and help her remember.
