For instance, you can play clothesline letters, where letters and words are arranged on a string or print out large letters with decorated pictures of objects, such as apples for ‘A’ or dragon and dog for ‘D’. Then, ask the child to tell you the names of these animals or objects and help them associate it with the letters.

If you want to make learning more fun, try baking alphabet cookies, giving children a cookie with icing or sprinkles that reveal an alphabet.
