Your child’s cognitive capacities are expanding on a daily basis. His learning abilities, recognition of colors, memory and association power will help him in recognizing and understanding many things in real life. He may not be able to name all the things because his vocabulary is still developing but his mind can identify a lot of things.
What you need to know
As your child will get more exposed to the outside world, he will learn to associate signs and symbols with things that he has observed. Story books and picture books are great tools in this learning process. Having seen a white ambulance in a picture book will help him recognize one in real life too. Spend as much time as you can in reading and telling stories to your child.
