It is also a positive sign that your kiddo is developing fine communication and thinking skills.
However, he needs you as a mentor at all times. This needs your time and patience. And also continue to read books to your kiddo. When there are so many things going on in a busy day, it's easy to overlook reading together, but this still provides valuable time together. Don't worry, if your kiddo is acquiring new skills at a different rate, to those around him as all kids develop at their own pace.
