The first thing that you, as a parent should do to is to start helping your child identify and learn names of colors.

Now that your child is able to identify colors and even name them, take a step further and ask him to identify colors of every possible object. Right from clothes he is to the color of your walls, fruits, crayons he is using to color a scenery in his drawing book, colors of flowers when strolling in garden, etc. Your home is your childs’ first school, make the most of it for improving his color recognition skills.
