By now, your child can use cutlery just like an adult. She can feed herself using spoon and fork with ease while at times even use a table knife. She can spread butter and cut soft foods like cheese with a small table knife, with supervision.
What you need to know
Besides a wonderful family time, having meals together will help her observe how elders eat with cutlery, especially learning how to use both fork and knife.
Don’t rush your child to use cutlery. Let her learn naturally and you will see her growing independent
