Your Child May Be Older Now, But Visits To Paediatrcians Are Mandatory

Now that your child has a busy schedule with academic and non academic activities, you want to ensure he/she is healthy enough to perform them well. A visit to your child’s paediatrician and getting answers to your concerns will ensure your child is doing well physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

What you need to know
At 6+ years, your child’s doctor will ask questions concerning his eating and sleeping habits, his performance at school, his level of physical activity during the day, TV habits, his interest in extracurricular activities etc. He will also check his weight and height to ensure he is growing at a healthy rate - overweight or underweight.Your Child May Be Older Now, But Visits To Paediatrcians Are Mandatory

Immunization records, hearing, and eyesight will all be checked by the doctor. You may have concerns regarding his eating habits or adjustment at school. If you have any queries, please have them ready/noted down before the visit. You may also want to know any vitamin supplements that your child may require.
