Your child is now developing a good sense of time. He knows breakfast is had in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and dinner at night. He can also talk about events related to past, present and future. You can hear him say, “We went to the park” or “I will be a teacher,” etc.
What you need to know
Your little one gets a better understanding of time, as you read books about time words.
While talking to your little one, use language of time to define activities you are doing. Stress on words like early, morning, noon, today, yesterday, etc. as that will help him ace the knowledge of time better.
