It is a great way to understand that your little one is developing fine spelling skills. It is also a positive sign that your kiddo is heading towards the learning and writing accuracy.

However, your child might get frustrated at times when he is unable to spell a word. Be relax and patient when your child is learning this skill and resist the desire to spell words for him. Be your child's mentor and guide him how to learn this skill. Encourage your little one to search the words within the words as searching for words within words is an important skill for later spelling strategies.
