Your child can use long complex sentences upto nine words. His vocabulary is work in progress and he will speak clearly in sentences most of the time like adults. He will use language to express his opinions, ask questions, persuading and holding a basic conversation. He can also make and retell stories. During playtime, you will see him interacting and solving disputes with his friends.
What you need to know
Read often to your little one often. Other activities include, playing word games, singing, etc. which will add to his vocabulary. Create simple sentences for him to work on.
Talk about day’s activities as he absorbs information from his environment. Make the conversation more interactive.
