Your child is using his imagination and creativity to form new things. When presented with different shapes, you will see him combining one or more shapes and build something new. For instance, he will use the different shapes of wooden blocks and form a new pattern or fill these blocks in a huge triangle or square drawn on an A4 size sheet.
What you need to know
Don’t rush into finishing the activity. Let your child explore the various shapes and create new designs and patterns. Besides sparkling your child’s creativity and learning through the shapes, he remains focussed and has lot of fun.
