At this age, the fine motor skills of your kiddo are beginning to develop and improve. He is beginning to do more things with his hand as his physical and cognitive development is on the rise.

Now is the time you will start noticing that your child's hand dominance has established and he will be using one of his hand for most of his fine motor skills. As he has started school, his pencil grip skills will be more established. He will be able to write alphabets and numbers with more precision and control. When given to draw over dotted lines he will able to trace over it neatly. Drawing pictures with recognizable objects and coloring within the drawing is also a skill that will see improvement.
