By now your child values friendship and has one or few best friends. He sees things from other’s perspective and is able to get along with others while playing or at school.
He is also open to playing games in group wherein he learns that playing fair and engaging in cooperative play are important to have fun and learn new games. He also displays good self-control.
What you need to know
Playing simple board games like Ludo, Snakes and Ladders or enrolling in an organized sport like basketball, teaches your kiddo skills like team work, fair play and not letting defeat affect his self-esteem.
Encourage your child to participate in group projects in school. It will be an enriching experience for him. For instance, doing a science experiment with 2 or 3 classmates
