As your little one starts walking and gains confidence, he will challenge himself by holding soft toys or objects and pursue his walk. You will be surprised to see him walking while trying to hold a heavy object.
What you need to know
Your little one is now an explorer and wants to try out new things and understand how they work, with his newly found independence: walking. He will now wan to carry his favourite toy around. Ensure a safe environment and give ample time for unstructured play. As his physical skills are developing, he is also learning to use his hands more.
