Making Your Baby Understand Names Of Various Emotions
You need to act as a teacher for helping your baby learn names of basic emotions. This knowledge can be imparted during normal interactions with your toddler. Make a sad, happy, angry or grumpy face, while speaking out the emotion name simultaneously. Make sure your words are spoken slowly so that your baby catches it instantly. You can test if your baby has learnt emotion names through the use of visual or verbal sources. Play a certain sound which offers a scary noise and wait for your baby’s response. If he makes a fearful face and speaks out a similar word, then count it as a positive development trait.
