Should You Be Co-Sleeping With Your Baby To Make Her Sleep?
Co-sleeping generally means sleeping close or near to your baby. It could in the same bed or in the same room. Most babies need to be fed, comforted and changed at night. If your baby is closer to you, then you can do all of these while in bed without getting up. Being closer to your baby and meeting her demands will help you and your baby sleep better. She will be less fussier and have no night time separation anxiety. It also helps in maintaining adequate milk supply as your baby needs to feed frequently at night and co-sleeping would make it easier to meet her demands. It would also be a lot nicer to wake up to your smiling baby. While co-sleeping with your baby make sure that it is a firm mattress, she should be on her back and keep pillows and blankets away so that no harm is done to her while she lies in her bed.
