Do Not Be Too Particular About The Allotted Task Being Done Perfectly
At this point, the aim should be learning and not gaining perfection in any whichever way for your child. The more you will be pushy and cynical about things, the more your child will lose interest. That is why the best thing is to ensure that he is appreciated for every little thing that he does, rather than reprimanding him for not being able to do it correctly.
Your child will improve over the time. There is no doubt about it. Just allow him to be himself. Allow him to have an opinion and respect his ways like you want him to respect yours. Again, this mutual admiration and respect will give him the confidence which will enable him to perform better each day.
If your child is helping you in household chores, avoid being too bossy and finicky. Let the child decide how he wants the task to be done. Give him the autonomy to make decisions. Motivation is the key here.
