Encourage Them To Help Serve In spite Of Their Shortfalls!
Encouragement breeds confidence and positivity in your child at this point. A child is most motivated to do things when he is appreciated in spite of his shortcomings. What is thus more important at this age is to appreciate the work of your child than the outcome he achieves.
The very fact that a little child has mustered the courage to do something on his own with a sense of responsibility is something that needs to be upheld with pomp and enthusiasm. A child always strives to do anything better, when he knows that he will be appreciated. But, if he is rebuked and discouraged, he will slowly shy away from doing things. So appreciate and encourage him to do even better, so that your child is positive and motivated in everything he does.
