Handle Your Kid's Incessant Questions With Patience
Your child's inquisitiveness knows no bounds at this point. Developing a sense of self-respect and self-worth in your kid at an early age is an important thing. This begins with how you treat her at home. Especially in how you answer her million questions most of which are sure to be pointless and ridiculous.
What is important to understand is that these questions are not ridiculous to her but very important questions and if you were to laugh at her questions instead of answering them seriously, she is prone to thinking that her questions do not matter which often further translates into her opinions also not mattering. This thought process is a serious blow to the kid’s self-esteem which both parents and kids only realize once the kid is old enough and has already internalized her low self-esteem. The only way of preventing it from happening is when you allow her the chance to ask her questions and patiently answer them and engage in a discussion without laughing. This will make her learn that her questions and opinions matter and that people should respect and respond to them and she will grow up to be a confident individual.
