Health Is Wealth
Your child is involved in many school and after school activities at this point. For optimum performance, his health, both physical and mental well-being is very crucial.
Include playtime in his routine for his social and emotional development. Be it with his friends in the park or being part of an organized sport activity.
Offer a range of healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, whole grain cereals, low fat dairy products and lean proteins. Avoid distractions like TV while having meals and eat together as a family.
Limit junk and sugary food. You can keep them for special occasions. Keep him hydrated. Involve him in activities or games that involve movement of all parts of his body, for example, cycling. You may also encourage use of toys, which may help in improving the tenacity of the muscles.
