With a lot of social exposure at school and other places, your child now is exposed to a lot of emotions, and sometimes that can cloud her mind and she may often have a surge of emotions, making her confused. In this case, you need to sit with her and make her aware about what she really feels and what she really wants. Always bring in your own example here, so that she can relate. You can always tell her that it's okay if she feels sorry, or angry, or hurt, because these are all parts of human mind and we all face it in our day to day lives, and there always exists a solution.

Give her a tight hug to make her know that you are always going to be there for her.
