Help Your Child Master Reading And Comprehension
Applaud your young reader when he reads and comprehends together. When your little genius reads a story by himself or both of you read together, make a "5W 1H" chart. (5Ws- Who, what, where, when and why? 1H- how?)
During the reading session, let your little one fill out the answers to the 5W 1H from the story he just read, and that would add to his learning. Give points/clues to your child. Let him try to make his own version of the story. This will develop his creative writing, reading and comprehension skills.
