Help Your Kid Be Comfortable And Frank With You
At this stage, as your child starts to move out of the house more often and without your supervision, he encounters many new experiences which till now were alien to him. Sadly, not all of them may be good. While he may come and share the good incidents, there is a very good chance that he keeps the unpleasant ones to himself.
In order to prevent this from happening, it is very important that you keep an open channel of communication with your kid and never make him feel embarrassed for expressing anything to you. Once the child develops the confidence that he can talk to you about everything without being reprimanded or ridiculed, he is sure to be completely transparent with you. This will also help you understand your kid’s thought process and help mould it in a positive way by having productive conversations with him.
