How To Get Your Kid Prepared For School After A Long Vacation?
Adjusting your child for the impending new journey is inevitable. But, more than anything, talk to your child about the schooling that starts in few days. As parents, many times we emphasise on the physical aspect of the change more than the mental and emotional part. While the change in time, place and people is important, one cannot possibly undermine the fact that your child will undergo a lot of emotional upheaval too, when the school reopens.
Talk to your child about what he can expect. Assure your child that he will be with his own people when he is back from the school. The time he will spend away will be worth it as he will be learning and making new friends in the school. See to it if your child shows any signs of separation anxiety. And if so, ensure that you have a hearty talk with your child and get him ready with positive mental and emotional frame of mind.
