How To Help Your Child If He Is Finding It Difficult To Read?
Every child develops at their own pace, and this is true of your little one too. You may find that other kids of her age are reading with ease, while he is still struggling. Do not be anxious – there are several ways you can help your child augment his reading capabilities.
Read to and with your child, and help him pronounce the words correctly. Identify what your kid’s interests are and what kind of books he prefers. For example, if he loves animals, he would enjoy stories with animal characters. If the book interests him, he will be more eager to read it.
You can also take your kid to a library where he can surround himself with books. This may spark an interest in reading. Each child learns at their own pace so do not push too hard, give him time and let him enjoy his reading time even though it may be slow paced.
