Introduce New Food Items Alongside Familiar And Favorite Ones
While introducing new foods to your child at this point, you need to give one new food at a time in small amounts.
Ensure, there are also other foods in his plate which are known and his favourites.
The chances to eat the new food becomes high when your child is actually hungry. So just keep the food in his plate.
If he resists, at times, you can also join him to have the same food. Seeing you eating, he will be willing to try the same.
If your child dislikes the new food in the beginning, don’t stop giving him again. Sometimes, it takes time and repeated attempts for your child to get adjusted to the texture, smell or taste of the food served. Try giving again after few days.
