Make Your Child Fall In Love With The Dictionary!
To taste success at school and in life, your child needs to build a robust vocabulary. Through the following measures you can simply help or encourage your kiddo to do so:
-Try not to teach too many words at a time. Only a few words daily work great.
-Generally, a child needs to hear a word 4 to 12 times before adding it to his vocabulary.
-Try not to stress your child to learn some special words.
-Encourage your kiddo to read, say and write the new word.
-Point to the new word to your child you see anywhere.
-Help your child with the words having multiple meanings.
-Finally make him have his self-built dictionary: a notebook, where he can jot down all new words learnt and practice them daily.
