Talk To Your Child
One of the most important bonds that you create with your child is the bond of communication. And verbal communication is paramount here. You have already taught your kid the mechanism of speech when he was a toddler. Now it is time to refine those skills.
A child not only needs to learn how to talk, but also the finer points of communication with others. The commonest way of learning these is by imitating his immediate surroundings. So provide your kid with plenty of verbal inputs so that he is competent enough to talk not just inside the house but also at social gatherings.
Make it a point to talk to your kid every day, about what is going on with his life. You can also share fun stuff from your own day, so that he feels this is a two-way affair. Concentrate on what he says and accordingly appreciate or correct his ideas.
