Teach Your Kid: Failing Is A Part Of The Learning Process
Failure is probably the bitterest truth of life and it is something your child also needs to know about at this stage. It is true that failure is painful by all means, but there's always something to learn out of it. As parents our natural instinct is to protect our children from all the failures of life. But sadly, this is where we go wrong. Allow your child to fail. It is absolutely okay to fail.
Failing in a running race, failing to get good marks in the exams, failing to win a competition, be it be anything. But failure must be handled as it is meant to be. It is the integral part of your life and your child’s life. Never undermine the importance of failure. Rather remember the fact that a child who is able to handle failure is prepared to go a long way in life. And if you really want your child to excel, allow him to fail so that he knows the real pleasure of winning in life. Keep motivating and never give up on your child.
