If you find your 3 to 4 year-old kid is a little plump, inactive and chubby, it is high time that you should take a close look at your child’s gross motor skills or physical activities. This is the time they should be playing and jumping about, not sitting around lazily. You should be well aware about physical activities of your kid.

If you find your kid frequently restricted to their bed or being very lethargic, then it’s a good option to consult a specialist. The specialist will check the possible motor skill actions like if your kid is able to stand on tiptoe; are they able to kick a ball; are they able to hop; can they jump around without falling? You should also personally keep a check that your kid indulging in the needful physical activities. Encourage them to go out and play with other kids and make new friends.
