It is important to clean the ears of your child at this age, but you need to be very careful when it comes to which item you need to use for cleaning her ears. Do not use pins or sharp edge item like hair pins, safety pins, etc. Only use a washcloth and only clean the outer ear of your cutie pie.
Your child’s skin is tender at this stage; you must wipe down your child’s ears, and be tender. Never take your child near noise polluted area; you need to be more cautious to protect your child’s ears from loud noise. Do not poke your child’s ear; this will harm her ear drums. You can wipe behind your child’s ears and around the outside of each ear. Without doctor's advice, don’t use baby buds to clean your child’s ear. Never allow your child to play with cotton balls as she may not know the hazards they can impose and may keep them in her ears thinking it to be a fun activity.
