Provide Suitable Exposure to Apt Stimulus
At this age your child’s thinking will be more active for new experiences with the environment. Use colorful books, blocks, balls, for exposing your child to an arena that stimulates his thinking skils. This humble and soft self-directed act discovers the habit of learning in your child. Your child at this stage wants to create different kinds of activity, to his own observations and actions. This adaptive skill in your child will develop both gross and fine motor skills; culminating toward the end of the first year in walking.
You need to construct a habit in your child to play with colorful toys, motivate the child in his new action and try to explain slowly about his actions, which will be helpful in later stage of his life. Your child will now grasp the names of the family members in your family, try to motivate him to learn their names, repeat once in a day, so that your child will start remembering the names of all the family members.
