Select a Soft Surface For Playing
At this age, your child wants to play energetic play like push and pull games with balls and soft toys. Your child may be more interested to play with other children, so make sure he doesn’t choose an area which has hard surface. Make a soft space for him where he can play comfortably.
For example: make a boundary line or square with pillows! Active play is a great way for your child to be physically active. Be a role model in your child’s life. Children love to play in sand, try to be more cautious when you take your child in play area outside the house, be more responsible and keep an eye on your child to avoid putting mud in his mouth. Wash your child's hands and legs as soon as you come back home, this is to avoid infection if any. For more active movements in your child use soft games like boxes, pots, pans and hoops that can encourage reaching, stretching, crawling and moving.
