Shower Your Little One With Praise, Admiration And Reward
- Your child is now exploring new things like talking, walking, running, climbing. As he tries to attempt new things, praise his efforts rather than just the result. This way he will be motivated and willing to try new challenges in the days to come.
- Let your language and tone be very positive as you appreciate him.
- When you see behaviours where he tries to do things on his own, engages in cooperative play and other matured behaviours, give plenty of praise. You can also reward your bundle of joy with cute stickers or give him his favourite snack.
- Don’t rush into changing a behaviour. Getting the desired behaviour requires consistency, reinforcement and patience.
