Tip to Handle a Stubborn Baby

Tip to Handle a Stubborn Baby
  • Distracting a stubborn child is a good way of making your child not notice or simply forget that various restraints are being forced on your child against her will. Never argue with your child, instead communicate. This is an important rule for dealing with a stubborn child.
  • When your child is being stubborn or is angry, it is not the appropriate time to argue with your child. It is better to communicate with the child when they are quiet and ready to listen. It is best to let your child learn through experience.
  • You should also expect your stubborn child to test your limits several times because that is how they will learn. That way, you will be in a much better position to keep calm when your child is being stubborn.
  • You and your partner should be good role models to your child if you want a well-behaved child. Teach by showing it to the child. You cannot behave however you want and expect your children to be well-mannered.
  • You may think that your child is too little to understand this, but fact is your child begins to get used to your words from long ago, and hence, your tone here plays a significant role in pacifying your child. Tell him that, ''Mamma loves you, but she needs to work too, right my baby?'' The more soft spoke you are, the more likely it is for your baby to be less stubborn.
