Apple Strawberry Smoothie
Treat your tummy with this wholesome recipe full of nutrients. Apple adds iron, starch and sweetness while strawberry gives this smoothie Vitamin C and a burst of flavour. You will slurp away this smoothie happily when blended into a creamy consistency.
Ingredients: 1 apple, 2-3 ripe strawberries, 1 cup plain yogurt, 2 spoons honey (optional)
1. Take an apple and wash it thoroughly; peel and slice it into small pieces. Wash the strawberries too.
2. Blend the apple and strawberries together in a blender.
3. Strain to remove strawberry seeds.
4. Add yogurt to the mixture and blend it once again till it becomes smooth.
5. Add honey to the blended mixture, mix well and serve immediately.
This nutritious and delicious smoothie is a great dish.
