Carrot, corn and chicken puree
If your child is just starting on solids at 6 months, it is best to start by giving off food items that are enriched with the goodness of essential vitamins and nutrients. Besides, if you are a noon vegetarian, you can add a little chicken to your baby’s diet as well through this quick and easy to make recipe. This puree is best served during a meal time and can be prepared on the go.
Ingredients: 1 carrot, small size, 1 cob of sweet corn, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1 small piece chicken breast or thigh/ 1 portion roast chicken, 1 tsp. water/ formula/ breast milk
1. In a pan, add the olive oil and shallow fry chicken
2. Take the carrot, sweet corn and fried chicken in a bowl.
3. Cut into pieces or slices.
4. Add the contents of the bowl in a blender and blend until you achieve the desired consistency.
