Oats Porridge for Your Baby
Oats are a rich source of copper, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, biotin, Vitamin B1, dietary fibre, chromium, zinc and protein. Cook a yummy and satisfying porridge for your baby with this recipe. Ingredients: 50 gm porridge oats, 350 ml milk, fruits
1. Cook the fruits till they are soft and tender. Puree using a blender and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, cook the porridge oats in milk. Simmer for about 5 minutes till the oats are completely cooked. Note: If baby is less than 12 months, add water instead of milk. If you have excess breastmilk, you can mix bm with the porridge just before feeding. Do not heat the breastmilk.
3. Pour the oats in a bowl and add the pureed fruit into it. Mix well.
