Peach Puree Infused with Ginger and Basil
Light, easy to digest and extremely delicious, this puree is sure to win your baby’s heart. Beside being a delight to the palate, this puree is also extremely healthy as it is made using fresh peaches, ginger and basil. With this dish, your baby gets essential vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, niacin, potassium, Vitamin C, dietary fibre, riboflavin, folate, calcium, magnesium and Omega 3 fatty acids.
Ingredients: 2 large peaches chopped, 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger, 1 tbsp. finely chopped basil, fresh lemon juice
1. In a saucepan, cook the peaches, ginger, basil and lemon juice in water for some minutes. Bring to a boil.
2. Lower the flame as soon as the mixture comes to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
3. Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool.
4. Transfer into a blender and process into a smooth puree.
