Aloo toast sandwich is a delicious breakfast option that you can easily prepare at home. This dish is not only tasty, but also nutritious as it is made using potatoes which are a rich source of potassium, carbohydrate, protein, Vitamin C, iron, Vitamin B6 and magnesium.

Ingredients: 14 slices of brown bread, 5 potatoes boiled and mashed, 1 tsp. chaat masala, 1 tsp. red chilli powder, 1 tsp. cumin powder, ¼ cup chopped coriander leaves, ½ cup grated cheese, butter, thinly sliced cucumber, tomato and onions, salt. 

Steps

 1. In a bowl mix the mashed potatoes, chaat masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt. 

 2. Butter all the slices the bread. Place the potato stuffing on the buttered slice, place the thinly sliced vegetables and top it with grated cheese. 

 3. Place another slice of bread on top and grill the sandwich till it is brown and crisp. 

 4. Serve the sandwich with tomato ketchup or a spicy chutney.
