Bananas are a rich source of potassium, dietary fibre, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6 and hence are important for your growth. This banana cake allows you to cook a delicious dessert and provide the nutritional goodness that bananas have to offer. 

Ingredients: 2 cups whole wheat flour, 2 ½ tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt, 1 cup fine sugar, 100 gms butter melted, 2 eggs lightly beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla extract, ½ cup milk, 1 cup mashed ripe banana

Steps

 1. Preheat your oven to 160 degree Celsius. 

 2. Mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt and set aside. 

 3. In a bowl mix the eggs, milk, sugar, banana and melted butter. Add the flour and mix into a smooth batter. 

 4. Pour the batter into a greased tray and bake for 40 minutes

 5. Cool and serve.
