Ingredients: Rice flour- 1 cup, Fried gram flour- 1/2 cup, melted butter- 3 tsp, Salt to taste, Hing- a pinch, Oil for deep frying


1. In a bowl, mix together rice flour, fried gram flour, melted butter, salt and hing. Add water and make a soft but stiff dough. 

2.  Heat oil in a kadai. Using a single star disc, squeeze murukkus either on the back of a slotted ladle or on a small plate and then gently slide 2-3 murukkus into the hot oil.

3.  Fry both sides until golden brown and remove from oil. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel.

4.  Store it in an air tight container once it cools down.
