Buttered Corn

Use corn kernels to make buttered corn as a snack. This recipe is very simple and offers a lot of nutritional benefits as corn is a rich source of potassium, carbohydrates, protein, iron, Vitamin B6 and magnesium. 

Ingredients: 2 cups corn kernels, 1 tbsp. butter, ½ tsp. pepper powder, 1 tsp. mixed herbs, 2 tbsp. grated cheese, salt. 


 1. Cook the kernels in a pressure cooker for about 3-4 whistles. Drain and set aside. 

 2. In a pan, melt the butter and add the cooked kernels along with the mixed herbs, salt and pepper. Mix well.

 3. Sprinkle the pepper powder, top with grated cheese and serve the buttered corn.
