Carrots are the best to get nourishment naturally for the better growth and development of your child's body. The one who consumes carrot regularly on a daily basis has overall good health and well functioning of major organs like skin, digestive system, eyes, as well as teeth. Also, Gajar Halwa is one of the most popular desserts among kids and adults alike. So make sure that you get all the goodies of carrot, which are vitamin A, beta-carotene, Vitamin E, as well as fiber.

Ingredients: Grated carrot,1 L milk, Sugar, Cardamom powder, Cashew, raisins, and almonds.

Steps:

1. In a tawa, add 1 L milk and let it boil. 

2. Add to it the grated carrots and once it boils add sugar and let the mixture boil well until it turns condensed. 

3. Giving the last touch, add cardamom, cashew nuts, almond, and raisins to it and let the mixture cook for 5 minutes.

4. Keep it aside for 2 hours. Your carrot halwa is ready to serve.

You can also serve it along with vanilla ice cream.
