Are you on the lookout for a tempting pulses dish? This Chana Kurma recipe will surely tickle your tastebuds. Channa dal is full of proteins and makes for a perfect side dish to go with pooris.

Ingredients: Oil - 2 tbsp, Cumin Seeds- 1 tsp, Onions - 1 chopped, Tomatoes - 2 chopped, Coriander Powder- 2 tbsp, Turmeric Powder- 1 tsp, Garam Masala Powder - 1 tbsp, Salt to taste, Coriander Leaves - 3 tbsp finely chopped, Sprouted Channa Dal- 3 cups (boiled), Water - 4 cups. For Grinding: Coconut - 1 cup, Garlic - 5 cloves, Ginger - 2 inch piece, Saunf - 1 tbsp

Steps:

1. Take all the grinding ingredients and blend to a paste.

2. Heat oil and crackle some cumin seeds. Add onions and tomatoes and saute.

3. Add salt and allspice powders and saute till the oil separates from it. Add cooked dal and ground masala and mix well.

4. Cover and simmer it for 10 to 15 mins till oil separates.  Sprinkle with coriander and serve with roti or dosa.
