Omelettes are a great way to start the day. Omelettes are highly nutritious as they provide essential nutrients such as protein, copper, iron, zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and selenium. However, adding a little cheese not only amps up the taste but also its nutritional value as cheese is a rich source of protein, Vitamin K2, Vitamin A, riboflavin, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, sodium, Vitamin B12 and calcium. 

Ingredients: 2 eggs, ¼ cup of chopped onions and bell peppers, chopped coriander leaves, 1 ¼ tsp. oil, ¼ cup grated cheese, 2 pinches of chilli powder, a pinch of turmeric powder, 2 pinches of garam masala.


 1. Break the eggs into a bowl, add the chopped vegetables, coriander leaves , salt and spice powders and mix well. 

 2. Heat oil in pan, keep the flame on medium and pour the egg mixture and spread. 

 3. Cook till the base is done and then flip. 

 4. When both sides are almost done, add the grated cheese on top and fold when the cheese melts.
