Colorful Tomato Bisque

Serving something healthy, especially when feeling sick is nothing less than a war. But giving something healthy is essential. So, you can try this tomato bisque recipe, which is filling, has the super-nutrients of tomato and can help  feel better. At the same time, it is yummy!


1. Preheat the oven to 200 C. Combined tomatoes, olive oil and a tbsp. of light brown sugar, carrots and onions. Toss the mixture. Place it on parchment lined baking sheet. Roast for 30 mins.

2. Heat a pot of soup. Add butter, crushed red pepper and garlic. Sauté for a minute. Add tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add roasted vegetables, chicken stock to the mix.

3. Season with salt and pepper Bring to boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.

Add heavy cream to the bisque while serving. Puree the soup for uniform texture.
