Crispy Golden Masala Paratha
Love parathas by adding a little twist to the dish with this easy to prepare recipe. This masala paratha recipe uses whole wheat which is highly nutritious as its rich in magnesium, copper, zinc, iron, antioxidants, Vitamin B, fibre and protein. Here’s how you can easily prepare masala parathas at home in no time!
Ingredients: 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of oil, a pinch of jeera, ajwain seeds; a pinch of black pepper, turmeric powder, ½ teaspoon each of garam masala and amchur powder, a cup of water for kneading dough, oil.
1. Take the flour in a mixing bowl and add in all the ingredients except water and oil.
2. Add oil and pour in water, start kneading and prepare a soft dough. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
3. Roll out small balls from the dough and using a rolling pin prepare parathas.
4. Cook using ghee till the parathas are crisp and golden on both sides.
