Potatoes are rich in Vitamin B6 and C. In addition, they also contain phytonutrients which are considered to have antioxidant properties. Aloo tikkis serve as a great snack and provide you a healthy way to make potatoes a part of your diet.

Ingredients: You will require 3 medium potatoes boiled and mashed; powdered bread or bread crumbs, 2 cups cornflour, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon amchur powder, ½ teaspoon red chilli powder, a pinch of fennel powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, salt to taste.


1. Take the mashed potatoes and add the masala powders, black salt, cornflour, and salt and divide the mix into equal portions.

2. Roll into balls and make patties out of it. Roll the patties onto the powdered bread or bread crumbs.

3. Deep fry the patties and your aloo tikkis are ready.
